Prescribing Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (Virtual - Remote) - NJ - 1099 Contractor (Mental Health)

What you will do

• Provide virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, teens, and young adults.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal treatment.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients, and prescribe medications.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care using measurement-based and patient-centered practices.
• Coordinate referrals to therapy and coaching services when appropriate.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited PMHNP program, or an accredited PA program with PANCE certification.
• Unrestricted state license in New Jersey required.
• At least 2 years of practice experience.
• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Office space with the ability to see clients.
• Ability to treat a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors.
• Psychiatry qualification, fellowship, or academic psychiatry certificate for PA candidates.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
