Prescribing Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (Virtual - Remote) - NJ - 1099 Contractor (Mental Health)

Location: Remote within the United States; unrestricted New Jersey license and full-time U.S. residency required

What you will do

• Provide virtual psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based medication management for children, teens, and young adults.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, medication evaluations, and longitudinal treatment.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans and document treatment recommendations.
• Message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications according to clinical best-practice guidelines.
• Coordinate referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE PMHNP program, or from an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification.
• Unrestricted New Jersey state license required.
• At least 2 years of professional practice experience.
• Ability to provide care across a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.
• Full-time resident of the United States required.
• Office space suitable for seeing clients is required.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors.
• Psychiatry certification, fellowship, or academic psychiatry training for physician assistants.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
