Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PA License - PMHNP - Contract/1099 (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a minimum of one onsite day per week at the Pittsburgh clinic

Salary: $120–$140 USD per hour

What you will do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, providing education and ongoing support.
• Monitor progress against care goals, adjust treatment plans, and intervene proactively to maintain patient safety.
• Collaborate with psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals on integrated treatment plans.
• Oversee diagnostic testing, manage refills and prior authorizations, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Requirements

• Active PMHNP license in Pennsylvania and autonomous practice status
• At least two years of independent psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner experience.
• At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults under any nursing license.
• Board certification by ANCC or AANP, DEA license, and state prescriptive authority license.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week and a minimum of one onsite day at the Pittsburgh clinic
• Computer, phone, high-speed internet, and experience with Google Suite, EHR systems, and virtual platforms.
