Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, MD License - PMHNP

Location: Hybrid role in Maryland, United States; administrative hours are remote, with in-person and virtual clinical sessions. Availability is required after 4pm ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

Salary: $72,500–$175,000+ annually, including a $72,500 part-time base salary and $100 per additional clinical hour.

What you will do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and care goals.
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families and provide education about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and interdisciplinary colleagues through integrated care planning and weekly clinical meetings.
• Monitor patient safety, oversee diagnostic testing and results, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program and PMHNP-BC certification.
• At least one year of independent psychiatric practice under licensure.
• Active Maryland PMHNP/APRN license and autonomous practice status required.
• Additional licensure in Virginia, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey required, along with DEA license and state prescriptive authority.
• Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
• Availability after 4pm ET on weekdays and/or weekends; own phone, computer, and high-speed internet required.
