Intake Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP - Part Time

Location: Fully remote within the United States; active licensure in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland required. Core availability is after 4pm ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

Salary: $72,500–$175,500 annually, including a guaranteed base salary for a 20-hour-per-week schedule and additional earnings for intake evaluations.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations and assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–26.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with therapists and interdisciplinary specialists.
• Match patients with appropriate ongoing providers and coordinate seamless handoffs to continuing care.
• Educate parents and caregivers about diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps.
• Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain thorough, HIPAA-compliant intake documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• At least one year of independent psychiatric experience under active licensure, including work with children and adolescents.
• Active license in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland.
• DEA license and state prescriptive authority.
• Availability for after-school hours after 4pm ET and/or weekends.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual telehealth platforms.
