Salary: $83,000–$105,000 per year base salary plus equity

What you will do

  • Contribute to the full PCBA design cycle, including schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout.
  • Assemble, bring up, and functionally verify printed circuit boards in the laboratory.
  • Conduct bench testing, analyze data, and troubleshoot electrical and embedded-system issues.
  • Assist with electrical hardware development for power systems, avionics, and sensors.
  • Create test procedures, design notes, and board bring-up reports.
  • Collaborate with Production, Mechanical, Software, and Flight Test teams during manufacturing, system integration, and field testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience; relevant internship or co-op experience is strongly preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other electronics laboratory equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB layout and schematic-capture tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Familiarity with Linux, embedded systems, and C/C++ programming.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, inquisitive approach.

Nice to have

  • Experience with student design teams such as Formula SAE, robotics, drones, or solar car projects.
  • Familiarity with motor control concepts, including FOC, PWM, and inverters, or with power electronics.
  • Exposure to safety-critical design principles or failure analysis such as DFMEA.
  • Experience taking ownership of small-to-medium-sized electrical design tasks.
