Director, Foundations Projects (Solar Energy)

Location: Fremont, California, USA; hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day off-site

Annual salary: $210,000–$230,000 USD for California

What you will do

• Lead a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, including the development and performance of 5 or more direct reports.
• Manage customer accounts and project groups from purchase order through commissioning, owning delivery, customer satisfaction, and technical support.
• Manage project P&L, including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and cost control.
• Coordinate product ordering, supply chain, logistics, freight forwarding, and on-time delivery with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Provide field support for installation and quality control, driving resolution of non-conformance and construction deviation issues.
• Represent customer needs internally and contribute systems-integration recommendations to product, sales, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined Project Manager and Senior Project Manager experience in energy, construction, mining, or oil and gas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management, leadership, customer service, communication, and direct-report management skills.
• Experience with supply chain procurement, logistics, customer support, and operations and maintenance issues.
• Strong knowledge of photovoltaic technology and its applications.
• Ability to work from the Fremont, California office 4 days per week.
