Director, Access Programs

Location: Fully remote; can be performed from anywhere. Occasional travel for team meetings or events is expected.

Salary: $177,000–$242,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the strategy and operational management of Patient Assistance and Copay vendor programs.
• Track vendor performance, service-level agreements, quality standards, budgets, issues, escalations, and audits.
• Establish standard operating procedures, documentation standards, and quality controls.
• Partner with Patient Service Leads to improve operating models, workflows, training, and escalation processes.
• Integrate vendor data into dashboards to monitor operational metrics and the patient journey.
• Use data and marketplace trends to improve affordability solutions, scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or another advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience, including patient assistance and Copay programs.
• Experience with affordability programs, preferably Patient Assistance Programs, and agreement management.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and the regulatory environment.
• Ability to interpret operational and patient journey data and translate insights into strategic action.
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills for internal and external audiences.
