What you will do
- Lead technical discovery, qualification, and technical fit assessments for prospective customers.
- Design and deliver research-backed demos tailored to business outcomes.
- Structure and run proofs of concept with defined success criteria, focus metrics, and validated data.
- Position technically against Amplitude, PostHog, and warehouse-native alternatives.
- Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, objection handling, and expansion planning.
- Create actionable handoff packages and stay aligned with Delivery Engineers on production requirements.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales at a B2B SaaS company.
- Technical foundation in data analytics, event tracking, APIs, data warehouses, or adjacent domains.
- Experience running structured proofs of concept with measurable outcomes.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercial judgment and the ability to support deal execution and technical objection handling.
- Knowledge of the analytics competitive landscape or the ability to develop it quickly.
