Lead, Business Operations (Specialty Chemicals)

What you will do

• Coordinate the Monthly Business Review process, consolidate functional inputs, prepare executive-ready materials, and track decisions and actions.
• Connect Forecast, Demand Review, Supply Review, and MBR operating cadences across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D.
• Prepare or coordinate the non-statutory Management P&L and translate financial results into business drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Define and maintain financial, commercial, operational, and continuous-improvement KPIs, including contribution margin, pricing, capacity, productivity, inventory, project ROI, and benefit realization.
• Analyze customer, territory, regional, pricing, plant cost, capacity, quality, productivity, and delivery performance.
• Track continuous-improvement and project portfolios, including resources, milestones, risks, ROI, capital allocation, and realized benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, FP&A, Commercial Excellence, Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or a similar function.
• Experience in manufacturing, specialty chemicals, advanced materials, or a technically complex B2B environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial and operational drivers, KPI management, variance analysis, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI or other dashboard tools is preferred.
