Senior Product Engineer, Post Processing - Industrials

Location: Newburyport, MA, with additional travel as needed to the Devens, MA facility

Annual base salary: $106,500–$146,400, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Evaluate customer designs and provide Design for Additive Manufacturing feedback.
• Develop and optimize post-printing processes, including part movement, depowdering, plate removal, heat treatment, and subcontracted operations.
• Design and implement fixtures and work-holding for depowdering, EDM, heat treatment, support removal, machining, assembly, cleaning, marking, and finishing.
• Define manufacturing methods, work instructions, quality documentation, and configuration-controlled revisions in the ERP system.
• Partner with quality resources on inspection methods and customer requirements for development and production.
• Troubleshoot production issues and review non-conforming material to keep parts moving through the factory.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in product or applications development or manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, Biomedical Engineering, or a similarly regulated field.
• Proficiency with advanced 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
• Experience using ERP systems in batch manufacturing.
• Mastery of GD&T, statistical process capability, tolerance stack-up analysis, and complex DFM/DfAM constraints.
• Strong knowledge of subtractive manufacturing, including 5-axis milling, turning, and EDM, integrated with additive workflows.
