Production Planner (Advanced Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own production schedules across multiple manufacturing work centers, balancing customer priorities, materials, machine capacity, and labor resources.
• Translate customer demand, forecasts, engineering releases, and new program launches into executable short-, medium-, and long-range production plans.
• Coordinate sequencing across composite layup, curing, machining, additive manufacturing, inspection, finishing, and assembly operations.
• Monitor work-in-process, identify bottlenecks, and resolve scheduling conflicts that may affect delivery.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality on priorities, risks, schedule updates, and recovery plans.
• Improve planning processes and develop dashboards for schedule adherence, capacity utilization, on-time delivery, and factory performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, master scheduling, or operations planning.
• Experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, scheduling, and material planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Huntington Beach, California.
