Standard Cell IP Design Engineer

What you will do

• Define and update standard-cell library architectures across multiple semiconductor technologies and design flows.
• Design, improve, and debug standard-cell circuits for deep-submicron, FinFET, and SOI technologies.
• Characterize standard-cell libraries and analyze device-level and PDK performance, accounting for non-ideal effects.
• Generate and validate NLDM, CCS, and ECSM library views using industry-standard characterization tools.
• Develop characterization methodologies and standard flow methodologies where required.
• Deliver innovative standard-cell solutions aligned with business and project needs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in digital standard-cell library development.
• MS/M-Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or a PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong theoretical understanding of deep-submicron device physics and practical circuit design.
• Experience with standard-cell libraries and characterization using industry-standard tools.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Chip-level scenario experience and flow development experience.
• Perl, Tcl, or Python scripting and programming skills.
• Strong circuit debugging skills.
