Journey Worker - Electrical

Location: Rochester, NY, United States; onsite industrial, commercial, and field work

Salary: $27.00–$55.00 per hour, plus potential annual and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial environments according to NEC, NFPA 70E, and applicable industry standards.
• Complete wiring, conduit installation, motor controls, drives, power distribution, lighting, communication systems, and machine or skid builds.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Inspect and troubleshoot systems using multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, and project managers to execute projects successfully.
• Participate in safety programs and mentor less-experienced electricians at higher levels.

Requirements

• Experience appropriate to the assigned level, from L1 through L5.
• Ability to work in industrial, commercial, and field environments and follow detailed electrical instructions.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot or cold conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and communication skills.
• Availability for full-time daytime work, overtime, and occasional travel.
