What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment using electrical schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Perform mechanical functions and incidental work to resolve issues and maximize equipment uptime.
• Develop and apply PLC skills to troubleshoot control-related issues.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and operational uptime.
• Complete wiring projects and new installations, including running conduit and building electrical panels.
• Maintain required tools and update electrical prints and drawings.

Requirements

• Location: This position is located at the Warren, Michigan facility.
• Electrical journeyman’s card or equivalent professional work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic arm troubleshooting.
• Expertise in reading electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Ability to pass an Electrician aptitude test.
