Electrical & Instrument Mechanic

Location: Circleville, Ohio, United States; onsite at a 24/7 manufacturing plant

Salary: $42.81 per hour starting wage, progressing to $46.29 per hour within the first year based on performance, experience, and required skills demonstrations

What you will do

• Perform and document maintenance, calibration, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot control instrumentation, including pressure, level, and flow transmitters.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated control systems, PLC/DCS equipment, computer workstations, control valves, positioners, I/P transducers, and position indicators.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair AC/DC motor controls and drives.
• Measure, fabricate, and install conduit, piping, and tubing, and complete basic electrical wiring, protective devices, and grounding circuits.
• Provide overtime and off-hours call-out support for continuous plant operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand manuals, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Proficient computer skills and strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work a changing shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, squat or kneel, climb stairs and ladders, work in varied environmental conditions, and wear required PPE.
• Commitment to a zero-injury culture, safety procedures, and ongoing technical training.

Nice to have

• At least two years of relevant industry experience or an equivalent degree or military experience.
• Prior plant maintenance or construction experience.
• Advanced training in relevant technical skills.
