Electrician (Battery Manufacturing)

hirify.global is developing a localized battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery materials production.

What you will do

• Install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components, control panels, PLCs, motor controls, drives, and electronic components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and electrical prints to plan and execute work.
• Install electrical equipment, modify circuits, produce parts lists and work plans, and prepare as-built drawings.
• Test and commission completed work according to company procedures and building department codes.
• Coordinate with construction teams, provide feedback, and complete work scopes safely and on schedule.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of journeyman-level or higher electrician experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of hand tools, electrical meters, testing equipment, conductor and conduit sizing, and the NEC Code Book.
• Experience working with low- to high-voltage systems up to 480 VAC and interpreting electrical prints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of job-site safety, electrical hazard identification, and pre-work task planning.
• Ability to work at elevations up to 60 feet, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, climb stairs while carrying weight, and work in outdoor, noisy, hazardous, or extreme-temperature conditions.
• Regular weekend, night, or on-call work may be required.

Nice to have

• Medium-voltage experience.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, drives, and electronic components.
