U.S. Senior Export Control Operations Lead

Salary: $134,750–$192,500 per year

What you will do

• Determine and document export jurisdiction and classification for hardware and technology under the EAR and ITAR, including ECCNs, de minimis analyses, FDP analyses, CCATS support, and license exceptions.
• Manage EAR export licenses, ITAR exemptions, TAAs, MLAs, provisos, conditions, restrictions, and audit-ready documentation.
• Conduct end-use, end-user, destination, restricted-party, embargo, sanctions, diversion-risk, and KYC screening.
• Administer deemed export controls, nationality-based access reviews, licensing determinations, and Technology Control Plans.
• Support audits, gap assessments, corrective actions, regulatory monitoring, recordkeeping, procedures, and export control training.
• Lead process improvements, automation, digital tools, and AI-driven solutions while advising Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, IT, and global trade teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of U.S. export control experience covering the EAR, ITAR, and U.S. sanctions.
• Hands-on experience with complex classification, licensing, screening, deemed exports, and technology control requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Global Trade Management or ERP-based compliance tools.
