TL;DR

Salary: $88,560–$132,600 per annum

What you will do

  • Support and execute the global export compliance program, including classification of products, software, and technology.
  • Apply U.S. and international export control and customs regulations to business operations, R&D activities, technical data, and transactions.
  • Manage day-to-day visitor policy and deemed export system activities.
  • Support trade due diligence, audits, self-assessments, training, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs, user guides, process enhancements, and related program documentation.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and other functions across global locations on classification and trade compliance questions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, including export and classification compliance.
  • Experience with export control classification under the EAR, including ECCN determination, and HS/HTS classification for customs.
  • Experience applying U.S. and other applicable trade regulations to business operations, R&D activities, and technical data.
  • Experience preparing CCATS requests and/or export license applications, with strong judgment, critical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Applicants must be eligible to access information controlled under U.S. export control laws; an export license review may be required before employment. English fluency and flexibility to support global operations across time zones are required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including encryption products under EAR Category 5 Part 2 and Category 3.
  • Familiarity with global trade automation solutions for classification, screening, and reporting, such as GTM.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn their use in trade compliance activities.
