Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $80,000–$102,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead advanced export compliance activities, risk mitigation initiatives, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Oversee customer and destination screening against denied-party lists, embargoes, and restricted-party requirements.
• Manage accurate and timely Electronic Export Information filings through the Automated Export System.
• Lead export licensing activities, including determinations, applications, renewals, proviso management, communications, and recordkeeping.
• Maintain ECCN classifications, HTS codes, and country-of-origin data across SAP, Global Trade Services, and other corporate systems.
• Develop procedures, monitor compliance KPIs, support AgilePoint workflows, and train less-experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP GTS or other global trade management systems, including screening, licensing, compliance controls, and trade data governance.
• Expertise in export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, ECCN/HTS classification, country of origin, and trade compliance programs.
• Ability to independently manage complex compliance matters, lead projects, influence stakeholders, and meet critical deadlines.
• Must already have U.S. work authorization; immigration sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
