AI & Automation Program Lead, Finance Transformation (AI)

Location: Primarily in-office at the Santa Clara, California office

Salary: $138,000–$207,000 USD annual base salary, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Own the AI and automation program for the Chief Accounting Office and Finance Transformation organization.
• Partner with finance, accounting, IT, data engineering, security, and infrastructure stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.
• Document current and future processes and build ROI, risk, and cost-benefit business cases.
• Define an automation roadmap aligned with CFO strategies, enterprise architecture, RPA, low-code/no-code, AI services, and data integration tools.
• Design, prototype, and implement automations using tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate, bots, scripts, APIs, and integrations.
• Establish governance, controls, audit trails, exception handling, documentation, and enablement for finance teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operations, preferably in finance, accounting, or shared services.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation, RPA, AI/ML, or workflow tools.
• Experience mapping processes, eliciting requirements, performing gap analyses, and implementing automation or AI solutions in a business environment.
• Understanding of data integration, APIs, databases, SQL, and ETL.
• Experience with enterprise ERP, billing, financial, or accounting systems.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, independent execution, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Nice to have

• Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate.
• Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex, or OpenAI APIs.
• Knowledge of governance, controls, and audit considerations for automated finance processes.
• Experience with change management, technology adoption training, finance transformation, or shared services.
