Manager, Data Center Operations I (HPC)

Location: Pecos, Texas; full-time onsite. Occasional travel between data centers may be required, with some nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Supervise HPC data center technicians and oversee routine data center operations.
• Track team responsibilities, project progress, operational plans, and monthly targets.
• Manage payroll positioning, hiring and termination decisions, performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.
• Coordinate testing, maintenance, projects, budgets, and resource implementation.
• Support new construction commissioning by documenting and reporting issues.
• Coordinate onsite staff, vendors, and contractors during incidents and operational activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible data center experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of network, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Working knowledge of HPC computer equipment and network infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s license and strong written, verbal, leadership, and team-building skills.
