Data Center Technician (Bitcoin Mining)

Location: Onsite at a data center near Pecos, Texas, United States. Reliable personal transportation to the designated work site is required.

What you will do

• Perform basic diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Bitcoin mining equipment.
• Maintain computing, networking, and site infrastructure to support high uptime.
• Flash firmware, use miner tools, and apply basic data analysis skills.
• Complete general facility maintenance and cleaning duties, including work with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Carry out assigned projects and other operational duties under the direction of data center management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of experience in IT or computer hardware, systems or electrical engineering, network administration, and/or troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of IP addressing, subnets, small electronics, and medium- to low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to stand for 7+ hours per day and lift or carry 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including cold and hot rooms, excess wind, and dirty conditions.
• Successful motor vehicle check and reliable transportation to the work site.

• Experience at a Bitcoin mining farm.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
