Data Center Technician (AI)

Location: On-site in Allen, Texas, United States; 24/7 operations with on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed

Annual base salary: $80,000–$90,000 USD, plus discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits for eligible roles

hirify.global builds an end-to-end platform for developing, training, and deploying AI systems and operates an HPC data center through its merger with Voltage Park.

What you will do

• Maintain, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot data center hardware, compute systems, and network infrastructure.
• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and networking equipment.
• Monitor onsite hardware proactively and help diagnose issues to restore system functionality.
• Develop expertise in power deployment, airflow and containment solutions, environmental monitoring, and cabling infrastructure.
• Coordinate with hardware support, RMA, network engineering, SRE, remote hands, and operations teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Create installation standards and documentation for equipment placement, labeling, and cabling across data centers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of data center experience and technical proficiency with critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, airflow management, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM software, structured cabling, and cable management.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Experience setting up Ethernet and InfiniBand networking appliances.
• Strong debugging, analytical, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and participate in an on-call rotation.

• Experience in HPC environments.
• Experience with Dell or Nvidia equipment.
