Antenna Engineer (Automation)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks and performance matrices for passive and active antennas.
• Write and maintain scripts controlling RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and antenna pattern measurement infrastructure.
• Plan and execute verification campaigns for early prototype antennas against technical specifications.
• Analyze antenna pattern data, prepare reports, assess compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, and advise designers on improvements.
• Design fixtures for compatibility with satellite subsystems and coexistence across RF systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing scripts for wireless systems or hardware infrastructure testing.
• Experience developing KPI frameworks for antenna, RF, or electrical products.
• At least 2 years of experience with Python, LabView, TILE, or other automation software.
• Strong understanding of antenna parameters, RF testing, troubleshooting, and software debugging.
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

• Experience researching, developing, and analyzing antenna systems in laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with CST, HFSS, COMSOL, or Cenos 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
• Experience with motor-control software, system-level antenna placement, and desense mitigation.
• Experience integrating antenna designs with brackets and vehicle hardware.
• Startup or agile development experience.
