Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year

Company

hirify.global develops radar satellite systems and a coordinated constellation for creating high-resolution, real-time 3D maps of Earth.

What you will do

  • Develop RF and high-speed measurement solutions for radar payloads and satellite avionics hardware.
  • Characterize RF components and subsystems, including LNAs, PAs, mixers, synthesizers, filters, transceivers, and antenna arrays.
  • Design test fixtures, harnesses, calibration methods, and de-embedding procedures.
  • Develop and execute board- and system-level functional and environmental test plans.
  • Debug RF and high-speed subsystems, analyze test data, quantify measurement uncertainty, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and calibrate RF test equipment and facilities while supporting acceptance, qualification, and flight-readiness decisions.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field, with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with RF laboratory equipment, including vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Strong understanding of S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, compression, noise figure, phase noise, intermodulation, and link budgets.
  • Experience with calibration, de-embedding, fixture removal, measurement errors, and mitigation strategies.
  • Programming or scripting proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB, plus the ability to work with Linux terminals and file systems.
  • Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with circuit analysis, functional test plans, board rework, surface-mount soldering, and hot-air rework.
  • Embedded software experience with bare-metal, RTOS, and HAL libraries for ARM microcontrollers or SoCs.
  • Experience with system verification and validation, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with space systems and environmental testing, including vibration, shock, thermal testing, burn-in, and TVAC.
  • Familiarity with software-defined radios and RF system architecture.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work on an end-to-end satellite and radar technology product.
  • Competitive compensation with flexibility between salary and equity-based compensation.
  • Engineering work focused on disaster response, infrastructure resilience, defense, climate science, telecommunications, and other mission-critical applications.

Hiring process

  • Interviews are conducted via Google Meet.
  • The typical process takes approximately 2–4 weeks from start to finish.
