General Maintenance Technician I

What you will do

• Perform general data center operations and understand the site's infrastructure.
• Complete preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and related systems.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and Genie equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain facility systems through inspections, equipment upgrades, cleaning, repairs, and maintenance documentation.
• Receive deliveries, prepare shipments, and support facility logistics.
• Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance and follow general electrical safety practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related field; construction or repair experience is preferred.
• Experience using a wide range of tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors, including hot rooms, cold rooms, wind, and dirty conditions.
• Must pass a motor vehicle check and have reliable transportation to the designated worksite.
• Must be able to work collaboratively, troubleshoot repairs, work independently, and accommodate planned or short-notice overtime.
