Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician (Data Center)

Location: IAD-06; facility-based work with periodic property tours and scheduled shifts.

Hourly pay: $35.00–$45.00/hr.

What you will do

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life-safety, temperature control, building management, and digital security systems.
• Perform and track preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance through electronic work-order systems.
• Inspect buildings, lighting, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs.
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting, lighting component replacement, basic plumbing repairs, and drain clearing.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and facility maintenance equipment.
• Monitor building conditions, maintain inventories, and support the movement and storage of supplies, furniture, and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical critical facilities systems is beneficial.
• Ability to work 40 hours plus occasional overtime, weekends, and adjusted shifts.
• Computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, kneel, climb ladders occasionally, and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
