HVAC Technician

Location: Onsite at the Corsicana, Texas facility. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Work takes place in a mining or data center environment with heat, noise, varying temperatures, and elevated or confined spaces.

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, install, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose system issues using appropriate tools and methods.
• Monitor HVAC performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with the facility maintenance team on broader operations and emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and technical documentation.
• Follow site safety protocols, PPE requirements, OSHA regulations, and internal safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Universal HVAC Certification and R410A certification required.
• Experience with HVAC installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair; facilities maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, control, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals, and to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work safely onsite, climb ladders, access confined spaces, stand for extended periods, and lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• HVAC certification beyond the required credentials.
• NATE Certification and/or RSES Certification.
• Experience prioritizing maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
