Head of Talent (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-office 5 days a week

Salary: $170,000–$230,000 annual starting salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting across all functions, with an initial focus on engineering, operations, and go-to-market roles.
• Build the hiring plan and recruiting function, including processes, tooling, employer brand, and candidate experience.
• Build and lead a lean recruiting team that scales with hiring demand.
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, calibrate candidates, and close offers.
• Source and close candidates directly while maintaining an intense pace and high hiring bar.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience at technology companies, including substantial engineering recruiting.
• Experience building or significantly scaling a recruiting function, or senior individual-contributor experience ready to step up and own it.
• Hands-on approach to recruiting and team leadership.
• Strong talent judgment, organization, speed, creativity, and closing ability.
• Based in San Francisco and willing to work in the office 5 days a week.
