Director, Software Engineering - Code Data (SaaS)

Location: Office location or remote in the USA

Estimated salary: $150,000–$214,000 per year, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of the Content Engineering portfolio.
• Deliver customer- and business-focused roadmaps for Content Workbench, Price Workbench, and Contract Management services.
• Lead and mentor engineering leaders and managers across geo-distributed organizations.
• Guide architecture and technology decisions across data products, SaaS services, APIs, user interfaces, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Manage technology budgets, assess financial impacts, and forecast future technology needs.
• Build trusted relationships with executives and cross-functional partners while driving consensus and people development.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience in a SaaS environment.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering leadership, including management of large teams of 40+ people.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.
• Deep experience with data products, SaaS and cloud-based services, system architecture, high-availability design, and software development life cycle processes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with security scans, code quality scans, unit testing, and automated testing.
• Experience leading geo-distributed and offshore development organizations, scaling teams, and collaborating with executives and cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare supply chain domain.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI and agentic frameworks.
