Engineering Manager (Healthcare Technology)

Location: 100% remote within the United States, with approximately 10% travel, including possible overnight and out-of-state trips

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, plus 5%

What you will do

• Lead engineering delivery for ClearWellness technology initiatives and coordinate software development across internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage sprint execution, technical planning, estimation, testing, prioritization, and release processes.
• Oversee offshore contractor relationships, communication, expectations, and delivery.
• Partner with Product Management, Operations, Customer Experience, Compliance, Security, Infrastructure, and executive stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions follow approved architecture, security standards, technology roadmaps, and healthcare data requirements.
• Support deployments, monitoring, lifecycle management, and disciplined portfolio execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• At least seven years of software engineering experience and three years of technical leadership, engineering management, or team lead experience.
• Experience in healthcare, digital health, telehealth, wellness, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with HIPAA, privacy, security, and healthcare data handling requirements.
• Strong planning, budgeting, analytical, communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and modern virtual collaboration tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI technologies.
• Experience leading through influence, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-functional outcomes.
