Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Seattle, Washington, USA; onsite role.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and financial statement reviews.
• Consolidate financial results across multiple entities and locations and support business licenses, tax filings, audits, and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor cash flow and bank reconciliations while overseeing accounts payable and supporting accounts receivable operations.
• Manage inventory valuation, standard costing, landed cost analysis, cycle counts, cost variances, manufacturing reporting, and BOM analysis.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff and collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, HR, IT, Sales, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and insurance partners.
• Improve accounting systems, processes, and controls and support ERP upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-state operations.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience leading or managing accounting staff.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or Epicor, plus Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle, Washington, USA.

Nice to have

• CPA certification and public accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, outdoor sporting goods, consumer goods, inventory accounting, cost accounting, or multi-entity consolidations.
• Experience supporting a company with $25M–$100M in revenue.
