Staff Data Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Define and drive the analytics strategy in partnership with executive leadership.
• Develop KPI frameworks covering patient outcomes, provider performance, compliance, and operational scalability.
• Use advanced SQL daily to clean, organize, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Build scalable data models, enterprise reporting structures, predictive models, and forecasts.
• Support regulatory, quality, operational, compliance, board-level, and investor reporting.
• Translate business questions into analytical plans, present strategic recommendations, and mentor senior and mid-level analysts.

Requirements

• Typically 7–10 years of professional experience in data analytics, ideally in healthcare, telehealth, or another regulated industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency with strong experience in Python or R.
• Advanced experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Zoho Analytics.
• Understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, regulatory reporting, and multi-state healthcare environments.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders, work independently in ambiguous situations, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting board-level reporting or investor analytics.
• Experience building KPI frameworks tied to patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
