Location: Hybrid for candidates within commuting distance of the New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices, with three in-office days per week. Fully remote work is available only from listed U.S. states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, D.C. Candidates must reside in one of these locations at the time of hire.
Salary: $63,000β$90,000 per year, with the final offer based on education, experience, skills, training, internal equity, and local market data.

What you will do
- Lead tactical delivery of client PR programs, including media relations, executive thought leadership, awards, speaking opportunities, and content.
- Manage client communications, weekly PR calls, projects, quarterly plans, campaign calendars, budgets, and internal resources.
- Build media and influencer relationships, create pitches, identify story opportunities, and develop amplification strategies across LinkedIn, podcasts, and financial media.
- Write and edit press releases, executive commentary, contributed articles, blogs, speaking abstracts, awards, messaging documents, Q&As, and media briefing books.
- Track media performance and campaign ROI, apply analytics to improve storytelling and pitching, and support AI tool adoption for research and efficiency.
- Mentor junior staff, collaborate with content, design, social, and strategy teams, and contribute to new business and industry engagement.
Requirements
- 3β5 years of PR or communications experience in an agency setting.
- Experience in financial services, insurtech, insurance, consulting, or other professional services industries.
- Strong relationships with at least 10 business, financial, or industry-specific publications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex business topics into accessible stories.
- Confidence managing client relationships and internal teams, plus familiarity with analytics and reporting tools.
- Must reside in an approved U.S. location at the time of hire; hybrid employees near New York or San Francisco must attend the office three days per week.
