Senior Wet Cleaning Process Engineer (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of wet cleaning processes for 2D materials, including graphene, and novel device architectures.
• Own fab startup activities such as tool installation, acceptance testing, recipe validation, and production ramp-up.
• Define process specifications and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to select and qualify batch and single-wafer cleaning tools.
• Establish Process of Record standards and ramp-to-production protocols for critical cleaning steps.
• Coordinate chemical delivery, return, and waste infrastructure integration with facility and equipment teams.
• Implement SPC systems, drive data-based continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers and fab technicians.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on semiconductor process engineering experience focused on wet cleaning.
• Deep knowledge of contamination control, surface preparation, post-process cleaning, cleaning chemistry, and wet cleaning hardware.
• Experience with single-wafer and batch wet clean tools.
• Experience with chemical delivery, return, and waste management infrastructure in a fab environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Engineering or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with 2D material preparation and integration.
• Experience in fab startup, pilot line development, or technology ramp-up environments.
