Supplier Quality Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Qualify, evaluate, and develop suppliers while supporting procurement in selecting and approving new partners.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits and process assessments against quality requirements.
• Manage supplier complaints, analyze quality issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented through the 8D process.
• Support supplier approvals, first article inspections, and sampling processes.
• Define and monitor supplier KPIs, analyze performance, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality assurance as the technical interface for suppliers.

Requirements

• Technical education or a degree in engineering, industrial engineering, production technology, quality management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in supplier quality management, technical procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and evaluations, with certification as a supplier or process auditor, such as VDA 6.3 or ISO 9001 Auditor.
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, root cause analysis, and quality standards such as ISO 9001.
• Technical understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements, including complaint analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Excellent German and English skills and willingness to conduct occasional on-site supplier visits.
