Product Designer (AI)

Location: On-site in Palo Alto, California, United States. In-person collaboration is required.

What you will do

• Translate complex audit requirements and ambiguous AI capabilities into clear, logical user flows.
• Build and maintain a scalable component library and design system.
• Define product architecture, object relationships, navigation, and interactions across large datasets.
• Create AI-assisted prototypes to validate interactions before engineering implementation.
• Partner with product and engineering to shape the product roadmap and make design trade-offs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with an end-to-end portfolio; a portfolio link is required for consideration.
• Experience with complex B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software products.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand how changes affect the broader product architecture.
• Fluency with modern AI prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex, plus the ability to write basic code to communicate interaction details.
• Strong visual design skills across typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Clear communication skills for explaining design decisions and aligning stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience designing data-heavy dashboards, spreadsheets, or fintech products.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or React.
• Interest in LLMs and designing for latency, errors, confidence levels, and other probabilistic outcomes.
