Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Annual base salary: $87,590–$120,400, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, direct, and coordinate production processes for manufactured products, including new product introduction and continuous improvement.
• Develop 3D models, detailed prints, fixtures, work-holding solutions, and process documentation for machining, cleaning, marking, finishing, and part handling.
• Write NC programs using Mastercam or Solidcam and support 5-axis and mill-turn CNC operations.
• Support operations through troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and disposition of non-conforming material.
• Maintain configuration management for electronic files and programs while following the QMS and OSHA safety procedures.
• Promote automation, Fanuc robotics, 7S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing or machine shop environments, including at least 5+ years in manufacturing engineering or CNC programming.
• Expertise in CNC machining with multi-axis mill-turn and vertical mill centers, including demonstrated 5-axis and mill-turn programming and operation.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling, SolidWorks, Solidcam or Mastercam, and robotic loading with Fanuc or other robot systems.
• Expertise in blueprint reading and generation, GD&T, composite tolerances, and dimensional inspection.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001, as well as customer specifications and MIL, ASTM, ASME, and ANSI standards.
• Knowledge of material post-processing, work-holding design using SMED techniques, and mechanical systems, software, and hardware.
