What you will do

• Design, develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes, production flow, tooling, fixtures, automation, and test equipment.
• Investigate process failures, product failures, equipment issues, and quality concerns using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Develop poka-yoke and fixturing strategies to reduce variation in assembly processes.
• Support new product launches, design reviews, drawing approvals, pilot runs, process validation, and transition from design engineering to manufacturing.
• Plan and implement Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost/Productivity improvements using lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S, VRK, and Kaizen.
• Support ECOs, PFMEAs, equipment qualifications, validation protocols, data analysis, and training for updated processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or ProE modeling and drafting; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other mechanical inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with machining or precision mechanical assembly.
• Knowledge of transducers, flow or level switches, and other measurement sensors.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, RoHS, REACH, Copy Exactly process control, and lean manufacturing.
