What you will do

• Design, document, and improve manufacturing processes, production flow, tooling, fixtures, automation, and test equipment.
• Investigate production, product, equipment, and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop poka-yoke and fixturing strategies to reduce variation in assembly processes.
• Support new product launches, design reviews, engineering change orders, pilot runs, and process validations.
• Apply lean manufacturing tools, including Standard Work, 5S, VRK, and Kaizen, to improve SQDC performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze manufacturing data, and train associates on updated processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or ProE modeling and drafting; SolidWorks preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other mechanical inspection equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with machining or precision mechanical assembly.
• Knowledge of transducers, flow or level switches, and other measuring sensors.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, RoHS, REACH, Copy Exactly process control, and lean manufacturing.
