Inventory Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Receive materials physically and systematically for production operations and engineering projects.
• Move approved, non-conforming, and inspection-pending materials in accordance with warehouse and quality procedures.
• Replenish point-of-use parts and support part requests, kanbans, work orders, sales orders, material transfers, and special projects.
• Perform ERP transactions and communicate material movement and transaction status to stakeholders.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and follow FIFO, 5S, safety, documentation, and warehouse practices.
• Operate powered material handling equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of material handling, warehousing, or logistics operations experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience, including cycle counting and physical inventories, preferred.
• Experience or certification operating powered material handling equipment preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, PLM, or comparable computer systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extensive walking and repetitive physical activities, including squatting, bending, lifting, and climbing ladders.
