Inventory Specialist (Data Center Operations)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee or Southaven, Mississippi; onsite warehouse and data center work.

What you will do

• Receive, store, issue, pick, and kit servers, GPUs, networking equipment, power and cooling components, spare parts, and other infrastructure materials.
• Maintain accurate part and location identification across bins, racks, vertical lift modules, and staging areas.
• Verify incoming materials against paperwork, including part numbers, quantities, revisions, condition, and conformity.
• Issue materials against approved documentation while maintaining lot and serial traceability.
• Perform cycle counts, housekeeping, and material staging to support just-in-time delivery to construction and operations teams.
• Prioritize work independently and follow procedures, work instructions, and safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least 1 year of inventory control experience.
• Ability to operate on one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 6:00 PM–6:30 AM.
• Availability for rotating schedules, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays to support 24/7 operations.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds unassisted and perform frequent standing, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
• Comfort working in warehouse and data center environments with varying temperatures and noise.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of inventory control experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with inventory control, kitting, material handling, forklifts, ERP/WMS systems, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, electronics, technology, or data center environments.
• Ability to read drawings, procedures, and parts lists.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management.
