Inventory Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Onsite five days a week in Rochester Hills, Michigan, United States

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, label, and enter incoming materials and fixed assets in NetSuite.
• Distribute materials to build areas and maintain organized, traceable inventory storage.
• Track material usage and prepare kits for autonomous vehicle builds.
• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts in collaboration with Finance.
• Process returns and RMAs for damaged, defective, or excess inventory.
• Improve inventory workflows, storage layouts, and system accuracy with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of hands-on inventory control experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
• Experience with physical inventory, cycle counting, and material-handling practices.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, data accuracy, and readiness for physical activity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Automotive or manufacturing experience.
