Medical Information Specialist (Pharma)

Location: United States geographic pay areas (US 1 through US 5)

Base salary: $95,000–$100,000 per year, depending on geographic pay area, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and caregivers through phone, email, web portals, and mail.
• Provide scientifically accurate, balanced, timely, and compliant responses while documenting inquiries according to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain Standard Response Documents, FAQs, custom response letters, and other medical information resources based on scientific literature.
• Identify and follow up on Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints in coordination with Drug Safety and Product Quality teams.
• Support congresses, product launches, key data releases, training activities, client meetings, quality control, peer reviews, and project-specific QMS guidance.

Requirements

• Doctorate in research or a pharmacy qualification such as PharmD or RPh.
• 0.5–2 years of medical information experience, plus scientific writing, content writing, or publication experience in the life sciences domain.
• Pharma or science background with knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment landscapes, and product information.
• Strong call-handling, documentation, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality procedures.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IRMS or Veeva platforms.
