Local Operations Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Port Aransas, Texas, United States; hybrid work with required in-person local office time and regular travel between local worksites.

Salary: $52,000 per year, plus up to $100 per month car allowance for eligible employees.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and evaluate a local operations team.
• Oversee daily workflows for an assigned portfolio of vacation rental properties and improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Inspect properties before guest and owner arrivals and ensure units are clean, maintained, and well cared for.
• Handle escalated guest and homeowner concerns through calls, emails, and support tickets.
• Build relationships with property owners, support onboarding of new units, and manage portfolio budgets and cost-benefit analyses.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding while performing light home maintenance when needed.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in operational support; housekeeping or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, hotels, or a similar industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Technical proficiency with laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and other hardware.
• Reliable personal transportation is required for frequent travel between worksites; a valid driver’s license is required for driving duties.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on guest and homeowner needs.
