Product Lead, Invoice Automation (AI/OCR)

Location: Mexico; Mexico City strongly preferred. Hybrid work model with regular office presence, especially during ramp-up or when required by the leader.

What you will do

• Own discovery, prioritization, and outcomes across the four Fotofacturas invoice digitization products.
• Lead product development for CFDI capture, validation, categorization, approval, and automated accounts payable workflows.
• Develop WhatsApp as a first-class product surface using conversation design and the WhatsApp Business API.
• Define and monitor metrics including invoice volume, OCR accuracy, time-to-capture, activation, and AP automation adoption.
• Use Claude, GPT, Cursor, Claude Code, and similar AI tools as primary building tools.
• Contribute lightweight code changes, prompt tuning, feature flags, and analytics instrumentation through engineering review.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of an AI-first, OCR, document-processing, or invoicing product.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican CFDI structure, SAT validation rules, XML complementos, and CFDI 4.0.
• Experience with OCR pipelines or document AI, including extraction failures, human-in-the-loop fallbacks, and accuracy measurement.
• Experience building AI-first features such as LLM extraction, classification, or generation.
• Comfort with AI coding tools, Git, SQL, funnel analysis, prompt engineering, and light code modification.
• English and Spanish are required; native or near-native Spanish is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAT CFDI validation APIs or fiscal digitization platforms.
• Product-level experience with the WhatsApp Business API.
• Background in AP automation, expense management, or fintech in Mexico.
• Experience managing enterprise or white-label product variants.
