Data Center Electrician (AI)

Location: Onsite in Amarillo, Texas, with business travel across Texas as needed

What you will do

• Install, repair, maintain, inspect, and test electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting.
• Plan and manage electrical projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with other trades and contractors.
• Perform work on pad-mounted transformers, including Dissolved Gas Analysis test preparation, infrared scans, and torque verification.
• Diagnose complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial environments and optimize repairs and maintenance with operations and facility managers.
• Lead and supervise electricians and technicians while maintaining accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Provide on-call electrical support for facilities 24/7 and enforce safe working procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Apprentice Electrician License or higher, or a reciprocal Journeyman Electrician License recognized by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• 3–5 years of electrical experience and current certifications relevant to the role.
• Experience safely installing and maintaining low- and medium-voltage electrical systems and components; high-voltage experience is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with deep experience in three-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, multitask, solve problems, and maintain organized and accurate work records.
• Must pass a motor vehicle check and have reliable transportation to the designated work site.

Nice to have

• Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school.
• PLC programming experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
• High-voltage electrical experience.
