Lead Critical Facilities Technician (Data Centers)

Location: Frederick, Maryland, United States; on-site critical facilities operations

Salary: $48.00–$54.00 per hour, plus quarterly bonuses

What you will do

• Own site operations during scheduled shifts and act as the first escalation point for critical facilities technicians.
• Establish daily workflows, delegate tasks, monitor site health, and conduct building management system rounds.
• Respond to emergencies, equipment failures, service-level incidents, system deviations, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across critical and non-critical site assets, including work-order tracking in the CMMS.
• Operate and delegate work involving HVAC, plumbing, generators, UPSs, PDUs, STSs, electrical switchgear, fire systems, life-safety systems, and digital security systems.
• Coordinate training, schedules, construction activities, contractors, spare-parts inventory, and compliance with operating and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3–5 years of electrical or mechanical critical facilities experience, or 7+ years as an HVAC or mechanical technician.
• Must qualify as a Lead Technician.
• Ability to work overtime and shifts longer than 12 hours when required.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to enforce safety rules, follow MOP/SOP/EOP/CR procedures, and respond to operational incidents.
