Machinist 3

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; onsite manufacturing/lab environment

Hourly pay: $22.50–$37.50 USD per hour. Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to technical drawings and work instructions.
• Set up machines, load raw materials, monitor operations, and identify abnormalities.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain inspection records, part documentation, and production logs.
• Report defective materials, process issues, and equipment concerns while collaborating with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
• Perform routine maintenance by replenishing lubricants and coolants.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent education.
• 4+ years of job-related experience.
• Proficiency operating CNC machines and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings.
• Understanding of machining principles, tooling, and feed/speed parameters.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and ability to follow safety and quality standards.
• Applicants may need to qualify as U.S. persons for positions involving ITAR or EAR-controlled goods and technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-axis or conversational CNC machines.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and G Code programming.
• Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Ability to train or mentor others.
