CRM Lead (eCommerce)

Mr D is an on-demand delivery division of the Takealot Group, serving restaurant, grocery, and other delivery customers.

What you will do

• Develop and execute end-to-end CRM strategies centered on lifecycle automation and personalization at scale.
• Lead the CRM team, including functional and disciplinary management of direct reports and their teams.
• Manage customer communications across restaurant, grocery, and other on-demand offerings.
• Lead marketing automation across transactional, promotional, and brand communications using Braze and other MarTech tools.
• Design automated, multi-channel customer journeys using real-time events, customer attributes, and predictive signals.
• Establish CRM KPIs, dashboards, testing roadmaps, and optimization programs focused on incrementality, retention, frequency, and customer lifetime value.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing roles.
• 2+ years of experience managing multiple direct reports.
• Proven experience delivering multi-channel CRM campaigns across push, email, and in-app channels.
• Deep understanding of enterprise CRM and marketing automation platforms, including Braze or Salesforce, plus customer insights and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with large, diverse consumer audiences, complex environments, and Retail or eCommerce marketing.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and advanced MS Excel proficiency.
