Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist (Robotics)

Location: On-site at the Charlotte, NC headquarters; 8am–5pm, five days a week

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end shipping, receiving, put-away, and inventory workflows for finished robots, parts, and materials.
• Prepare domestic parcel, LTL/FTL freight, and international shipments, including packaging, labeling, commercial invoices, and customs documentation.
• Manage international customs processes and correctly tender freight, dangerous goods, and lithium-ion battery shipments.
• Maintain accurate ERP inventory records and identify part-number, quantity, documentation, and physical inventory discrepancies.
• Pack and stage customer orders on schedule and provide Sales with shipping quotes and lead-time information.
• Help establish and improve logistics processes as the robotics operation scales.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Experience managing shipping and receiving processes end-to-end, including domestic, freight, and international shipments.
• Previous experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
• Ability to handle or obtain DOT/IATA dangerous-goods and lithium-ion battery certifications.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and operate or become certified on forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to improve processes in a fast-growing startup.

Nice to have

• Experience with Acumatica or another ERP covering inventory, purchase receipts, sales orders, and shipments.
• Knowledge of HTS classifications, ECCNs, Incoterms, export documentation, and customs brokers.
• Experience in manufacturing, robotics, electronics, or aerospace, including serialized or revision-controlled inventory.
• Familiarity with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, 5S, continuous improvement, batteries, or ESD-sensitive components.
• DHL shipping experience.
